I decided to go for the eco-adventure activities that many travel companies conduct and it had been an amazing experience. River rafting/kayaking, rainforest hiking, bird watching, hill-tribe trek, village life & cultural interaction and cycling simply added that extra zing to my entire trip. Surprisingly enough, my brother who is not much into such activities seemed to like it as well. After having experienced the forests, the mountains, the rural villages etc. we came back to the hotel after a 3 days trip. The rest of the vacation we spent relaxing on the beach, playing golf, enjoying the spas, etc.

One of the most striking features of Thailand is that it has a pleasant climate all year round, which makes it even more preferable over other places. At least you have one thing less to think about while planning your vacation. The only thing that you need to make sure is that, you do your hotel reservations well ahead. As this place has tourists coming in throughout the year, the hotels and resorts are usually booked.
